The fourth camping trip of 2006 took place at Harrisville State Park. On this trip it was just the three of us, Nathan, Annie, and Cappi-Cino. We left on Thursday 8/3/06 and returned on Monday 8/7/06.
This is our large campsite. Our one neighbor from Indiana had this really cool pop-up. They were quiet neighbors and extremely nice. Our other neighbors had a big puppy. He was a 9 month old mastiff named Milo. Cappi tried to make friends but Milo was a chicken.
Next to our campsite was the dog run. The trees tilted together like a tunnel. The trails lead to the beach. Cappi loved it.
This is our new game that Nathan built called Ladder Golf. We got the idea from previous campgrounds. A lot of our neighbors were interested and stop to check it out, and sometimes even play.
We enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Cappi swam almost everyday. She like to ride the waves in.
We really enjoyed Harrisville State Park. It's a very wooded park with lots of wildlife, many trails for hiking and a beautiful beach. We had a great time and we put this park on our favorites list.
This is the Jeep before being loaded up and after its loaded up to the max. No room for extras.
